TRAINING/INSTRUCTION
MaryLea Balsley was Program Coordinator (and Instructor) for West Valley College's Small Business Institute for 10 years. She was Adjunct Professor for San Jose State University teaching Consulting and New Enterprises classes and has lectured at the American Graduate School for International Studies (Thunderbird). She was also an Instructor for the Career Action Center and the Women's Entrepreneur Program (WEP) for 10 years. In addition, she has also developed entrepreneurial training programs for clients such as:
- The City of San Jose, Office of Economic Development
- The Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce
- California Business Incubation Network
- Mission College
- De Anza College
Specialized courses have been developed for private and public companies, non-profits, and a wide assortment of organizations and associations as well as many private companies including:

- Agnews Developmental Center

- Hewlett-Packard
- U.S. Geological Survey
She was Promotions Consultant to the San Jose Downtown Association, and Senior Business Consultant for the Silicon Valley Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and has trained and consulted with thousands of business enterprises in her career.
